About Lisa Fletcher - CEO, B-freeLisa Fletcher’s entrepreneurial career started at the age of 19, when she started up her own artificial plant and interior design companies. Lisa worked on such prestigious contracts as Arundel Hills Country Club, Royal Pines Resort and Sanctuary Cove. As a result, in 1991, Lisa was nominated for a ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ award, and in 1992, Lisa’s company was part of the prestigious ‘Housing Industry Association Award for Best Overall Design — (Interior and Exterior)’. Excited by the prospects of enterprise building, Lisa later moved into the video game market, and, after only a 12 month period her company, Video Game Enterprises, reached the number one slot as the largest wholesaler in Australia. Even though Lisa sold the business, it still retains this ranking. Building on her experiences and developed skills, Lisa dived into the marketing channel and developed some incredibly successful campaigns for Goulbourn Valley and Smiths — The “POG Disc” campaign alone Lisa has been in IT for seven years now and was recently profiled by Tracey Fellows, Managing Director, Microsoft, as one of Australia’s leading ladies in IT. Lisa’s overt drive and passion for fantastic products has led her leading the B-free company and it is now deservedly earning a reputation as the world’s best and most simple financial software solution on the market. B-free has received a multitude of awards including the ‘Microsoft Software Solution of the Year Award 2006’ and ‘Deloitte Technology Fast 50 — Rising Star Award 2006’. Lisa is relaxed, driven, caring and focussed on the mission at hand, and utilises her strong, empathetic management skills to direct the team to success.
